I got several emails the next day saying things were being removed. Of course let then know they were being recorded as well. I told them if I get another charge after this conversation I would pursue legal action. Last time I told them they no longer have permission to retain any information about me as I no longer want to be an on-star customer so delete every piece of info they have ever had on file. This has gone on every month for the past 6 months now. Thought that was the end of it till the next month, another charge. After the 5th phone call I finally told them to cancel everything related to on-star and remove all credit card info from my account. They refunded the $40, only to bill it again a week later. Next month I get billed for the “standard” combo package at $40. Supposed to have 3 free months and another 3 free for signing up immediately. I did agree to sign for a basic plan so I could do Door locks and check status via my phone, same as I had in my previous Ram and same price. Of course they offer a free extra few months if you go ahead and sign up for a plan. As soon as I bought the vehicle the salesman was very adamant that we go through and press the blue button to set up on-star. As I said I enjoy my colorado, bit if there was a reason for me to not buy another it would be on-star. As far as on-star, they can shove that offer. I like my colorado and glad I got it, but without heated seats, I wouldn’t have even looked at it. Glad I got my colorado before they started deleting heated seats, I would probably have a Ram right now otherwise. Sweepstakes Of The Month: Win a 2023 Corvette Z06 Convertible.
